After announcing the 12 series last December in China, Xiaomi has made the 12, 12X, and 12 Pro official for global markets.

To recap, the Xiaomi 12 aims to be 2022’s leader for compact flagships with its 6.28-inch Full HD+ 120hz AMOLED display, along with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5-megapixel telemacro camera, and a broad set of charging options that include 67w wired charging and 50w wireless charging. The Xiaomi 12X is a more affordable version of the Xiaomi 12 that uses a Snapdragon 870 processor and omits wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, has one of the most stacked triple rear camera setups in phones so far. You get a 50-megapixel IMX707 main camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. As Xiaomi’s official flagship phone for 2022, the 12 Pro has a 6.73-inch curved Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120hz adaptive refresh rate and fast charging options: 120w for wired, and 50w for wireless.

The Xiaomi 12X starts at $649(~Php 34.1k) for the 8GB/128GB variant, while the Xiaomi 12 starts at $749(~Php 39.3k) for the same RAM and storage configuration. The Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, starts at $999(~Php 52.4k) for the 8GB/256GB variant. All three phones come with 3 months of YouTube Premium and should be available in various markets, including the Philippines, soon.
