To have a dual rear camera and 18:9 display
Rumors about the Xiaomi Mi 6X have been popping out here and there, with rumored specs that include an 18:9 display, a dual rear camera setup, and a Surge S2 SoC. Recently, photos of an alleged Mi 6X prototype have surfaced, and it pretty much confirms some of the rumors.
In the photos, the supposed Mi 6X will sport an 18:9 display (possibly either a 5.7 or 5.9-inch panel) with slim bezels. For the rear, its dual rear camera is arranged similarly to that of the iPhone X. Also, the fingerprint scanner is found at the rear. Since this is a prototype model, there are no markings at the back, which brings us to the possibility that Xiaomi might make some revisions to the final design.
Previously, a case for the Mi 6X was leaked, and it has revealed a possible USB-C port, IR blaster, and the presence of a headphone jack.
The Mi 6X is expected to launch during MWC 2018. Outside of China, the Mi 6X will possibly be known as the Mi A2.
