If you find the Pad 5 small for your needs, Xiaomi announced a bigger Pro model in China with a 12.4-inch display. It’s essentially a bigger version of the Mi Pad 5 announced last year, though its camera module design follows that of the Xiaomi 12 series.
It’s similar to last year’s Mi Pad 5 Pro, as it also uses a Snapdragon 870 processor and has a 67w wired charging, quad-speaker system, and a 50-megapixel main rear camera (but using a different sensor). As we said earlier, this one uses a 12.4-inch IPS display with a 120hz refresh rate. However, the panel used here has a lower touch response rate and only supports 8-bit color–though it still supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content.
To support the bigger display, you get a 10000mAh battery in the Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch, and you also get an option for a 12GB/512GB if you need lots of storage. Unlike its smaller sibling, the Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is only available in WiFi-only variants.
