While Infinix did not announce a new phone at MWC 2024, it did showcase some of its achievements when it comes to mobile gaming. This is highlighted by a prototype device that uses a Dimensity 9300 processor and Infinix’s CoolMax system.
Infinix’s CoolMax system makes use of both a Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC) and an Air-Cooling fan that’s paired with copper fins to reduce temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius, allowing the Dimensity 9300 to attain optimal performance even at ambient temperature conditions. With this cooling setup, Infinix was able to get an AnTuTu score of 2,215,639 on the Dimensity 9300. That’s the highest possible score that’s achieved with MediaTek’s 2024 flagship chip.
Aside from the Dimensity 9300, the prototype device Infinix showcased uses a Pixelworks Visual processor, allowing it to support up to a 144hz WQHD+ display. Infinix is also making good use of AI to optimize the internals based on different scenarios.
In line with showcasing what it has achieved when it comes to mobile gaming, Infinix said that it will be unveiling a “dual-core flagship gaming” phone in 2024. It will be different from the GT 10 Pro, as Infinix claims their upcoming gaming flagship device “is set to redefine the gaming experience, offering unparalleled performance and immersive gameplay.”
