Other teams that competed at the two-day PUBG Mobile event include 214 Akira, Exquisite Esports, Dread Esports, ELV8 Esports, Playbook Esports (PBE) and Enigma. These seven teams will be representing the Philippines for this year’s international PUBG Mobile eSports competitions.

The seven teams that participated at the 2024 PUBG MOBILE National Championships (PMNC) are among the best from the over 200 teams nationwide that showcased their skills in playing the popular battle royale game.

“Since 2022, only one team has made it to the regional pro tournaments. Now, there are seven. Knowing our teams, we look forward to the matches against our Southeast Asian neighbors and for our Filipino representatives to impress the region with their skills and strategy,” PUBG Mobile Philippines eSports Manager Franchesca Fajardo said.

Last year, Abdul “Monboy” Barode took home the Philippines’ first bronze medal in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games’ PUBG Mobile Individual Event.
