ChatGPT Is Coming To Android Next Week

If you’ve been jealous of your iOS brethren that have access to ChatGPT, fear not – the people behind the AI chatbot, OpenAI, have announced that it’ll finally be arriving on Android via app form next week.

People who want to access and try out ChatGPT for Android when it arrives next week can pre-register on the Google Play store. Just like its iOS and desktop counterpart, using ChatGPT will be free to use.

Of course, ChatGPT has always been accessible to Android users via the mobile browser, but OpenAI rolling it out in the app format makes it much easier to use and integrate into the platform vs opening Chrome (or any other mobile browser that you use).

There’s no word yet if the Android version will have the same deep integration with Google’s voice assistant that it has with Siri, though that’s probably in the cards.
