After being recognized as the fastest internet provider in the Philippines, Converge formally received the awards from Ookla during the fiber internet provider’s Thanksgiving event on April 4.

Ookla President and CEO Stephen Bye was present at the Thanksgiving event, where he gave the awards to Converge Co-Founders Dennis Anthony and Grace Uy. 

To recall, Ookla recognized Coverage for the following awards in 2023: Fastest Internet, Top-Rated Internet Provider, Best Internet Video Experience, and Best Internet Gaming Experience. 

According to Ookla’s Q3-Q4 2023 report, Converge managed a top internet speed of 457.56Mbps, which is higher than the national top speed of 365.19Mbps. This gives Converge a Speed Score of 123.18, making it 3 points ahead of PLDT and several points ahead of Globe.

Converge also emerged at the top for both video and gaming, garnering a Video Score of 86.58 and a Game score of 88.27. This places Converge a few points ahead of Globe for Video Experience and PLDT for Gaming Experience.

Aside from these recognitions for 2023, Ookla also recognized Converge as the best ISP for Video Experience for the second half of 2022, Top-Rated Fixed Network for the first half of 2022, and Most Consistent Fixed Internet Provider in 11 regions in 2021.

Currently, Converge has extended its free Speed Boost to its subscribers until the end of June.
