$3 million in prize money is at stake
Together with its announcement of new Legion peripherals, Lenovo announced that its gaming sub-brand was selected as the official PC and Monitor partner for the upcoming Apex Legends Global Series, which will kick off on March 13-15 in Arlington, Texas.
For the tournament, Lenovo will be providing more than 200 Legion T730 Gaming Towers and Y25 Gaming Monitors for all Apex Legends Global Series Majors. Those who want to qualify for the tournament must stay on top of the initial tournaments before advancing to local Challenger events or regional Premier events. From there, the best players will go against one another in the Apex Legends Global Series Majors. More than $3 million in prize money is at stake for the champion of the tournament.
For the equipment that will be used, the T730 gaming tower comes with an overclocked Core i7-9300K processor, RTX 2070 Super GPUs, and liquid cooling while the Y25 gaming monitor boasts of a 144hz refresh rate at Full HD resolution.
