Fuel prices are expected to go down for the fourth straight week. So, try to delay your visit at the fuel station if you can.
According to Unioil Petroleum Philippines, the price per liter of diesel may be slashed by Php 1.20 to Php 1.30 while gasoline prices may go down by Php 1.50 to Php 1.60 per liter.
Similarly, an oil industry source told GMA News Online that the pump price of diesel may decrease by Php 1.00 to Php 1.30 per liter while gasoline prices may be reduced by Php 1.40 to Php 1.70 per liter.
We can all expect the adjustments to take effect tomorrow, September 27.
Last week, oil companies have reduced the price per liter of diesel and kerosene by Php 4.15 and Php 4.45, respectively, while no adjustment was given for the gasoline.
The latest price movements brought the year-to-date adjustments to stand at a net increase of Php 30.65 per liter for diesel, Php 25.45 per liter for kerosene, while gasoline remains at a net increase of Php 16.50 per liter.
According to Department of Energy, price per liter of gasoline ranges from Php 63.10 to Php 73.10; diesel price ranges from Php 75.80 to Php 80.10; and kerosene price ranges from Php 80.41 to Php 89.00 per liter.
