How To Simulate The Samsung One UI Interface On Your Apple iPhone

Imagine this: you’re at a party, and some are discussing the Apple iPhone lineup as well as the Samsung Galaxy and all the other Android devices out there. It’s time for a party trick. You pull out your Apple iPhone and unlock it – only to show Samsung One UI? Is this a fake device?

Nope, it isn’t. This is made possible with Try Galaxy, Samsung’s attempt for iPhone users to test out if they could live with the switch. Just visit TryGalaxy.com on Safari with your Apple iPhone, then press on the Bookmarks Tab, and select “Add to Home Screen.”

This should create a “Try Galaxy” application in your app drawer. Press on it, and a menu opens introducing what Try Galaxy is all about. Press next and there you have it – One UI on your Apple iPhone! This is a neat party trick that should confuse all your friends, tech junkies or not.

There are limitations to this though. The current version of One UI supported by Try Galaxy is 4.1 instead of the latest 5. We expect this to arrive pretty soon though, considering the update began rolling out to Galaxy S22 users today. Supported iPhones are only the 7 from 2016 and above. Also, there’s limited functionality including scrolling the home screen, checking out gallery, messages, and other basic features. Most apps won’t work, so don’t treat it as a custom launcher for iOS devices.

It’s just a little bit more than a fun little prank. Would you welcome an Apple iPhone with custom ROMs in the future though? Let us know!
