inDrive Coming Soon to the Philippines

Confirming previous reports we have obtained, inDrive said that it will be bringing its unique ride-sharing service to the Philippines as it aims to help in solving the country’s mobility challenges. inDrive wants to change the local ride-hailing market with its peer-to-peer model that offers better transparency when it comes to fare prices.

“We are looking forward to serving Filipinos and strengthening the local mobility sector,”  inDrive founder and CEO Arsen Tomsky said. “Ride-hailing services are not just a matter of convenience, but a necessity. As the world returns to its busy state, moving around can be a challenge, particularly for people who do not own vehicles. We hope to ease this burden while providing opportunities for drivers to earn more.”

The Philippines is an important focus point for inDrive in its Southeast expansion, and it aims to make its service available in Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Cebu, and Davao during its initial commercial rollout and plans to build partnerships with local companies in the long run.

To recall, what makes inDrive unique is that it allows passengers to haggle its fares with drivers, where the latter has the choice to accept, decline, or make a counter-offer without being penalized. Because of this approach, inDrive’s fare prices are not dictated by any algorithm–making it able to provide full transparency to both parties.

Aside from being able to haggle fares, inDrive offers passengers a variety of options that include expected arrival time, car model, and driver rating. Drivers, on the other hand, have the freedom to choose rides that are cost-efficient, profitable, and convenient.

I think this system will not work people want a settled price for a trip
this is calling for ripping people off just what some taxi drivers do especially with tourists

To the management: I have a sedan, but 2010 model, is that still acceptable to register in your company? Do you have plan to operate later in south luzon area particularly in batangas? If there is, l will wait for it and l’m interested. One more thing is, can you provide me required documents need to prepare as registration requirements? And lastly, can you give me the the amount need to prepare for registration cost? l will wait for your reply on my email.
