Remember when Infinix said that its 180w ThunderCharge tech is coming soon to their flagship device? Looks like Infinix is ready to make 180w charging available commercially, as it has teased the Zero Ultra.
Spotted in an AliExpress listing, key highlights of the Zero Ultra include the aforementioned 180w wired charging solution, a curved 6.8-inch Full HD+120hz OLED display, and a 200-megapixel main camera with OIS.
Given that the teaser video reveals that the Zero Ultra will use a Dimensity 920 processor, we have mixed thoughts on Infinix’s decision to add a 200-megapixel camera to the Zero Ultra. Looking at the technical specs of the Dimensity 920, MediaTek’s upper mid-range chip has an ISP that can only support up to a single 108-megapixel camera. This was a similar case to the Note 12 Pro 5G, where it has a 108-megapixel main camera despite its Dimensity 810 processor only supporting up to a single 64-megapixel camera. The only way Infinix can maximize the 200-megapixel resolution is if the Zero Ultra comes with a dedicated ISP.
According to the listing, other specs of the Zero Ultra include a 32-megapixel selfie camera, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, a headphone jack, and a 4500mAh battery–the latter most likely the same bsattery type that Infinix used to showcase its ThunderCharge tech. We should know more once Infinix unveils the Zero Ultra on October 5.
