PLDT Updates its Prepaid Fiber Offerings for 2025

After rolling out its Prepaid Fiber offerings last year, PLDT updates them for 2025 with better overall value.

Starting with download speeds, PLDT promises its 2025 prepaid fiber offerings with up to 50Mbps of unlimited data, which is an increase from 35Mbps last year. The prices are also more affordable, with the 30-day pack priced at Php 699 from Php 999 last year, and their 15-day pack priced at Php 399 instead of Php 599. The 7-day pack is now priced at Php 199, and there’s a new 1-day pack that’s priced at only Php 50. Installation fee is also more affordable this year at Php 999, and everyone who will apply will get 7 days of unlimited fiber for free.

“Filipinos have a sharp eye for opportunity—embracing online gigs, remote work, and multiple income streams to uplift their families and chase their dreams. PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid supports this everyday hustle with fast, reliable internet that keeps up with their pace—no monthly bills, no lock-ins, just full control and flexibility,” PLDT Senior Vice President and Head of Home Consumer Business, and Sales and Development John Palanca said.

With the updated prices, PLDT is trying to stay competitive with its prepaid fiber plans. For comparison, Converge’s Surf2Sawa promises up to 50Mbps and up to 6 connected gadgets at Php 700 for 30 days, while Globe GFiber has a similar offering: up to 50Mbps at Php 699 for 30 days, with free 7 days of unlimited internet and no documents required.
