After we spotted the Smart 5G Phone a few weeks ago, which is based on the ZTE Blade A75 5G, the telco giant has officially unveiled its most affordable 5G device at a media event in Blackbird, Makati.

Priced at under Php 5.5k, Smart’s most affordable 5G phone aims to make 5G-ready devices more accessible to Filipinos. “In the same way that Smart ushered in the massive adoption of GSM and LTE technology through budget-friendly offers, we now want to bring 5G to all Filipinos so they can level up their mobile experience,” Smart Consumer Wireless Business Head Alex Caeg said.
Despite its affordable price tag, the Smart ZTE Blade A75 5G is a decent offering, with features that include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 120hz IPS display, 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5G-ready Unisoc T760 processor.
The Smart ZTE Blade A75 5G is priced at Php 5,450 and includes a Smart 5G prepaid SIM that comes with a 5 GB open access data, Unlimited All Net Texts for 3 days, and 8 GB open access data plus Unli TikTok for 3 months.
For those who prefer Postpaid, you can avail it Postpaid Plan+ 999 by adding PHp 100 a month and a Php 3,150 initial downpayment. Postpaid Plan+ 999 gets you Unli 5G, Unlimited AllNet Calls and Texts, Unlimited AllNet Landline Calls, 20 GB open access data and entertainment perks.
