While we have seen the Spark 10 Pro–which is set to arrive in the Philippines based on its Lazada listing, TECNO is also adding a 5G variant to the lineup, making it the first time a Spark series phone have a 5G-ready model.
Being an entry-level device, the Spark 10 5G is powered by a Dimensity 6020, which is similar to the Dimensity 700–down to also using a 7nm process, and is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB internal storage. We still don’t know the performance of the Dimensity 6020, but we presume that it should be better than the Dimensity 700.
It has a boxy loo, and its display is a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD panel that has a 90hz refresh rate and a notch for an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It has a blocky design on the back and a dual rear camera setup that’s led by a 50-megapixel f/1.6 main camera.
Other features include a headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 18w USB-C charging.
The TECNO Spark 10 5G is priced at Rs 12,999(Php 8.6k), making it competitive for a 5G-ready device that has a high refresh rate display and a 50-megapixel main camera. There might be a chance that it might arrive in the Philippines, since TECNO does sell a number of phones under the Spark line locally.
