While TECNO is making moves in the flagship segment with its Phantom X2 series and Phantom V Fold, the brand is also updating its entry-level segment with the Spark 10 Pro. It does look and feel more premium than its predecessor as it comes with a glass back–a first for TECNO’s Spark line.
TECNO describes the Spark 10 Pro’s glass back as “hard-wearing Starry Glass”, though they did not specify what glass they used. There are two colors to choose from: Starry Black and Pearl White.
Aside from the glass back, the rear camera module is designed in a way that it looks like an iPhone 14 Pro–along with flat frame sides.
You also get a bigger 6.8-inch display that has a 90hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, along with a Helio G88 processor so that it natively supports the higher refresh rate. The Spark 10 Pro comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
Save for those changes, you still get a 32-megapixel selfie shooter and a 50-megapixel main camera that’s accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor (the AI camera has been removed). Keeping the lights on is a 5000mAh battery that also supports 18w USB-C charging just like its predecessor.
TECNO has yet to reveal the official price of the Spark 10 Pro, but given its similarities to the Camon 18 specs-wise, we expect it to have an under Php 10k price tag.
