US EV brand Tesla has officially opened their first ever Tesla Experience Center in the Philippines, marking their entry to the highly competitive market in the Philippines. This follows a year after we spotted Tesla being available via EV Solutions.
The brand will initially offer two vehicles in the Philippines: the Model 3 sedan and the Model Y.Â
Prices for the vehicle are as follows:Â
- Tesla Model 3: starts at Php 2,109,000
- Tesla Model Y: starts at Php 2,369,000
Customers can customize their Tesla of their choice in the company’s website, allowing for a large amount of customization including interior options, trim options, battery options and more. As for the pricing of the Model Y and Model 3, they are significantly lower compared to EV Solutions‘ offering from last year.
The heart of Tesla’s appeal to customers however is their Supercharging system, which is also being brought over to the Philippines as well. The first Tesla Supercharger will be located in the basement parking of Uptown Mall in BGC, with Tesla rolling out more locations in the future.Â
Tesla is pegging the price of Supercharger use at Php 19 per kWh. At those prices, a full charge for a Tesla vehicle is pegged at Php 1,140.
