We’ve already done our review on the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 earlier this month, but we can’t stop waxing poetic about the Taiwanese brand’s newest refresh of their laptop of tomorrow. Our praise for the laptop of tomorrow goes beyond those two screens – it’s legitimately one of the best laptops for any creative that wants to have the very best tools for their trade.

The biggest reason? The laptop is one of the most powerful devices we’ve reviewed to date. The top-end of ASUS’s dual-screen offering has always had powerful innards, but the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 is in a class of its own. It’s available in two processor options – an Intel Core i7-10870H and an even powerful Intel Core i9-10980HK. That’s paired with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

The main reason why the laptop is so powerful though is the fact that it also comes with discrete graphics courtesy of NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 GPU. While the RTX GPU in the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 isn’t the same full-power one that’s on desktops today, it’s still powerful enough for a wide variety of applications that creatives will use the laptop for.

While GPUs are mostly associated with gaming, they’re also useful assets when you’re encoding video as well as when you’re editing in programs like Adobe Premiere Pro. And while we wouldn’t recommend the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 for full-on 3D graphics creation and 3D modeling (you’d need a proper workstation for that), it’s still a capable platform for anyone who wants to dabble with it in their spare time.

Aside from the powerful hardware, creatives also have that dual-screen to look forward to. That gorgeous 15.6-inch OLED display is incredibly sharp thanks to its 4K resolution and is color accurate enough for serious work because of its Pantone-validated DCI-P3 color space.

That 14-inch IPS secondary display is no slouch too, and thanks to ASUS’ work with Adobe and a bunch of other software developers and publishers, it’s more useful than ever before functioning as a repository for common keyboard commands which streamlines workflow and makes it easier to create content.
