Aside from the much-awaited reveal of the Nord 2 5G, OnePlus also revealed their new top-tier TWS earbuds with the Buds Pro. As it bears the Pro branding, the main feature of OnePlus’ latest TWS earbuds is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation, which the brand claims can filter up to 40dB of noise thanks to the three on-board microphones on each bud.
Being more premium than the OnePlus Buds and Buds Z, the Buds Pro sport a two-tone design that comprise of a matte finish on the in ear area and glossy for the short stems. Inside the Buds Pro are 11mm drivers that have support for Dolby Atmos, along with the hardware that support Bluetooth 5.2 and up to 94ms low latency mode.
To make it stand out further, OnePlus claims that the Buds Pro can last for as long as 38 hours with the charging case–a pretty high number for a pair of TWS earbuds. For the buds themselves, they are rated for up to 5 hours with ANC enabled and 7 hours without ANC–which falls in on a more conservative side.
Typical with any OnePlus product, they come with WarpCharge tech that offer 10 hours of listening time with a 10-minute charge. If wired charging is not your thing, the Buds Pro can also charge wireless via any Qi wireless charger. They are ideal for workouts too thanks to an IP55 rating.
