To start things off, the realme 9 comes with a Super AMOLED display with a 90hz refresh rate, 360hz touch response rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. You also get more RAM as well at 8GB, but its biggest upgrade is the 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 main camera. It’s the first phone to use this sensor, and it brings an updated NovaPixel tech that combines 9 pixels into a large 1.92um pixel. This claims to offer up to a 123% increase in light sensitivity compared to its predecessor.
Accompanying the main camera is an ultra-wide-angle camera, which is notably absent on the 5G version. The battery capacity may be the same at 5000mAh, but you get faster 33w wired charging.
The realme 9 4G will be available in India on April 12 and is priced at INR 15,999(~Php 10.9k) for the 6GB/128GB variant and INR 16,999(~Php 11.6k) for the 8GB/128GB variant.
