UPDATE: Twitter appears to be working normally as of 4:20pm. They have yet explained the cause of the outage. 

X, formerly known as Twitter, is running into issues today as users can’t access the platform as of today (December 21). We tried accessing Twitter using our personal account, and we could not see any tweets in our feed. The only sections that appear are the “Who to Follow” and “Creators for You”.

Even if you click on any profile, you still can’t view their tweets and can only view “Who to Follow” and “Creators for You”.

We don’t know what’s happening to Twitter, but Downdetector reports that the social media platform experienced a big spike in outages since 2PM.

We’re still waiting for a statement from X / Twitter about what happened. In the meantime, you might want to use Meta’s Threads for a Twitter-like experience.
