Earlier this month, we gave you a glimpse of the new Mirage G4. This time, we are going to give you everything you need to know about the 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 in the Philippines, including the price. 

Launched in 2013, Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is the Japanese automaker’s entry into the subcompact sedan segment. It is the biggest sales contributor of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) last year with 8,638 units sold, accounting for 23 percent of the total sales. 

The refreshed model is now sporting Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield design language. The front bumper, grille, and headlights have been redesigned, same with the LED taillights, reflectors, and bumper at the back The refreshed model also has a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels. Altogether, these exterior updates made the 2022 model sportier and more aggressive-looking.

Unlike the obvious changes on the car’s exterior, the interior of the refreshed Mirage G4 has only undergone minor changes. It still features the same three-spoke steering wheel, door panels, and the three-pod gauge cluster but with a new design this time. The only things that are new are the touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, automatic climate control, media controls on the steering wheel, and the new rear armrest with a center cup holder.

As for the engine, the sub-compact sedan still features the same 1.2-liter three-cylinder MIVEC engine. This engine has a power output of 78 PS with 100 Nm of torque. This is partnered to either a 5-speed manual or an INVECS-III CVT. Based on Fuel Eco Run supervised by the Automobile Association of the Philippines, this engine can do an astounding 23.1km/L. One of the biggest reasons why it is consistently a part of the local top 10 list of best-selling cars.

The new model comes with dual SRS airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a reverse camera for safety.

The Mirage G4 comes in four colors: Red Metallic, Titanium Gray Metallic, Cool Silver Metallic, and White Solid.
