There will be at least 3 SKUs of the upcoming smartphones
As the launch event for ASUS’ ZenFone 4 family of phones draw closer, the Taiwanese company is now releasing more information about their upcoming phones to the press. One of the phones that’ll certainly make an appearance is the recently announced (and leaked) ZenFone 4 Max, which is set to become the company’s main volume driver for this generation of phones.

While we already have an idea of at least two variants of the phones, there’s apparently a third variant of the device that forgoes a full HD display yet still retains the same screen size and battery capacity of the earlier model.
If the earlier leaks prove correct, the ZenFone 4 Max will be the third variant of the phone, and will come with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage plus dual rear cameras like the ZenFone 3 Zoom.
The phone will also come with a massive 5000mAh battery, which should last users quite a bit before it needs to be charged. No price point has been announced by ASUS as of yet, but you can expect it to be priced at the same level as last year’s phones.
