Another milestone for the Chinese brand

If Huawei’s overtaking of Apple to grab the number 2 spot globally did not convince you of the Chinese brand’s meteoric rise, here’s another major news: for the month of August, Huawei bagged the number 2 spot in sales value here in the Philippines, based on GFK’s August 2018 report.

This news comes in light with the success of the Nova 3i, along with price cuts for select models including the P20 and P20 Pro. In addition, its push for innovation helped Huawei propel to a higher spot locally. As of the last report, Huawei is number 3 in the Philippines.

Huawei is set to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in a few weeks time, and expect them to be as successful as Huawei’s other phones launched this year.
