You can clearly see the difference in design
Wondering how the Mate 10 looks like beside the Mate 9? Well, you no longer have to wonder – someone’s managed to take clear renders of the rear of the Mate 10 and put it beside the last year’s Mate 9.
Looking at the two phones side-by-side, it’s clear that the Mate 10 looks way nicer compared to last year’s offering. If the comparison renders are to scale, you can expect the Mate 10 to be slightly narrower than the Mate 9 thanks to the supposed 18:9 panel and skinny side bezels. And unlike the Mate 9 that has an all aluminum body, the Mate 10 is expected to sport a glass back though the dual rear cameras with Leica branding is still there.
The Mate 10 is also expected to come with Huawei’s own Kirin 970 processor, at least 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, as well as a big focus on AI. If leaks are to be believed, multiple versions of the Mate 10 are expected, including a regular Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and a Porsche design edition variant.
