Infinix is going all in with the HOT 50, as they have three models in store: so far, we have the HOT 50 5G, HOT 50i, and the recently leaked HOT 50 Pro+. Infinix continues to expand the line, and the HOT 50 4G was spotted in Ukraine.
What’s different between the 4G version and the 5G version? Aside from the obvious fact that it uses a 4G-only Helio G100 processor (the same one used by the HOT 50 Pro+), you’re getting more storage at 256GB–and Infinix is said to use UFS and not eMMC. The 4G model’s display also has a 120hz refresh rate but is slightly bigger and features a Full HD+ resolution. It’s also slightly slimmer at 7.7mm (the 5G version is 7.8mm), and uses a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 sensor for the main camera with a f/1.6 aperture.
The battery is the same at 5000mAh, and also supports 18w charging. As for its gaming cred, Infinix claims that the HOT 50 4G can run Free Fire at 90fps with 120hz touch sampling rate. Other features include an IP rating, NFC (the 5G version does not have it), headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In Ukraine, the HOT 50 4G is priced at UAH 6,800, which translates to around Php 9.5k converted. European pricing is usually more expensive, so expect pricing in the Philippines to be lower–if Infinix has any plans of bringing the HOT 40 4G here.
