Remember when Infinix teased a budget phone that’s allegedly thinner than an iPhone? While that does not refer to the HOT 50i (which is 8.1mm thin), Infinix might be referring to the HOT 50 Pro+, which was leaked on Facebook.Â
Slated to arrive in the Philippines soon, the main bragging right of the HOT 50 Pro+ is that it is only 6.8mm thin, making it one of the thinnest budget phones, rivaling the HONOR 200 Lite‘s 6.78mm thickness. The teaser poster does not reveal much, but the HOT 50 Pro+ is confirmed to have a 120hz AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass protection. It will also have JBL-tuned stereo speakers based on the renders, and it will be powered by a Helio G100 processor that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
As for the rest of the specs, we expect it to have the same 48-megapixel IMX582 sensor for the main camera, along with a 5000mAh battery with support for 18w charging and Android 14 out of the box.
Judging by the teaser poster, we expect the HOT 50 Pro+ to be priced at under Php 10k–and we expect Infinix to hold flash sales to bring that price lower.
