After a silent announcement last November, Infinix has disclosed the price of the ZERO 5G 2023, which is pegged at $239. That translates to around Php 13.4k when converted, though Infinix notes that the pricing of the ZERO 5G 2023 may vary per region–so there’s a possibility that it might be more affordable in the Philippines.
To recap, the main upgrade of the ZERO 5G 2023 is its use of a Dimensity 1080 processor. Compared to the Dimensity 900 used on the original ZERO 5G, the Dimensity 1080 gets higher-clocked Cortex-A78 cores at 2.8Ghz, along with native support for 200-megapixel cameras.
On the camera aspect, the ZERO 5G 2023 does get a triple rear camera setup, but it feels like a downgrade since you get two 2-megpixel cameras and a 50-megapixel main camera; the original ZERO 5G did have a telephoto camera.
Save for those differences, you still get a large 6.78-inch 120hz IPS display with a punch-hole for the 16-megapixel selfie shooter, along with 8GB RAM, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5000mAh battery with support for 33w charging, and Android 12-based XOS 12.
