Lenovo Legion Y70: Under-8mm Slim Phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Following the announcement of the 200-megapixel-sporting Motorola X30 Pro, Lenovo announced the Legion Y70 in China, which appears to be their counterpart to the X30 Pro in some parts.

While not a gaming phone like the Legion Phone Duel 2 or Y90, the Y70 does come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. It appears to use the same display found on the X30 Pro–specifically a  6.67-inch OLED display with a 144hz refresh rate, 1500hz touch sampling rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The only difference is that you’re getting a flat display and no in-display fingerprint scanner to keep it skinny at under 8mm, all while being able to cram inside several graphite sheets, a large 5047sqm Vapor Chamber, and a 5100mAh battery with support for 68w wired charging.

For the cameras, Lenovo kept the Legion Y70’s setup a bit more subtle with a triple rear camera setup that has a 50-megapixel main camera, 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.

Software is taken care of with Android 12-based ZUI 4.0, and you do get stereo speakers despite being slim.
