Huawei kicks off its 2024 launches in the Philippines by bringing over the MatePad Pro 13.2, MateBook D 16 2024, and FreeClip TWS earbuds. The three products are set to be unveiled on January 11.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 is the biggest tablet from Huawei, with its OLED display boasting a 144hz refresh rate. 5.6k resolution, and a notch for a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a ToF sensor for secure face unlock. It’s also the first Kirin 9000s-powered device to be made available outside of China.
The MateBook D 16 gets updated for 2024 with a dedicated numeric keypad, physical shortcut keys, and 13th-gen Intel processors with options for up to a Core 1i9-13900H processor.
The most interesting product out of the three is the FreeClip, which is an unconventional pair of open-air TWS earbuds that simply clips onto your ears. The unique design makes them more hygienic on paper compared to the usual TWS earbuds in the market while offering better audio quality than bone-conducting headphones.
