Not Yet Over: Infinix ZERO 30 5G Spotted on Google Play Console

Just when we thought that Infinix is going to “retire” the ZERO branding for smartphones in exchange of the gaming-centric GT 10 Pro, it seems that there will be a ZERO 30 5G coming this year. This marks the first time in 8 months that Infinix is announcing a new ZERO smartphone—the last one was the ZERO 5G 2023 that came out in December.

What do we know about the ZERO 30 5G so far? According to a listing on Google Play Console, the ZERO 30 5G will have a Full HD+ display given its 1080×2400 resolution. It will have a maximum RAM of 8GB—and expect it to have RAM expansion features—along with Android 13 out of the box. The listing also mentions that the ZERO 30 5G will use a Dimensity 1100 processor—which should be known more as the Dimensity 8020 given MediaTek’s new naming strategy.

While what we know about the ZERO 30 5G is pretty vague at this point, we can infer that the phone should offer a better set of specs compared to the NOTE 30 5G since Infinix has marketed the ZERO series as its flagship phone. At the very least, we expect the ZERO 4030 5G to have a 120hz display, stereo speakers, and a 50-megapixel (or 108-megapixel) main rear camera.
