After unveiling the Phone (2a) a few weeks ago, Nothing has teased another product launch on April 18, which involves two new TWS earbuds under its Ear line. You read that right: Nothing is relaunching its TWS line with the Ear and Ear (a), which will be different from previous models like the Ear (1), Ear (1) Stick, and Ear (2).

As Nothing confirmed on its socials, their next TWS earbuds will not be called Ear (3); it will simply be called just the Ear. We don’t know why Nothing is making changes to its naming scheme, but it’s a given that the Ear (a) will be an affordable option and will be meant to complement the Phone (2a).
Judging by the sole teaser photo, it seems that Nothing is giving a full design makeover for the Ear TWS earbuds. After all, Nothing’s decision to reset its naming strategy for its audio products is meant to “focus around the product and the unique experience it delivers for each user.”
We’re still wondering what upgrades the “new” Ear will get, since the Ear (2) added support for Hi-Res Audio, but we’re nonetheless excited with what Nothing has in store for the launch of its new Ear TWS earbuds come April 18.
