While OPPO is busy with the Reno6 series globally, there are already talks about the Reno7, with its rumored specs being revealed in the latest leaks.
According to the leaks, the Reno7 will still have a triple rear camera setup, with the main camera being an IMX 766 sensor and the ultra-wide-angle camera being an IMX 355 sensor. The former is a 50-megapixel camera that’s used in a number of phones like the vivo X70, OnePlus Nord2, and OPPO Find X3, while the latter is an 8-megapixel camera that is rumored to have macro capabilities–which means it might have autofocus.
The display is said to be slightly larger at 6.5-inches and will still be an AMOLED panel with 90hz refresh rate. New to the display is its support for 10-bit color.
Powering the Reno7 is a Dimensity 920 processor that is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Announced last August, the Dimensity 920 is a more powerful version of the Dimensity 900 used on the Reno6 and has native support for adaptive refresh rate. The battery will reportedly be bigger at 4500mAh and will support 65w charging.
Other rumored features of the Reno7 include stereo speakers, 6000 series aluminum frame, a 2D crystal glass back, and Gorilla Glass for the front display. Aside from the specs, the alleged price of the OPPO Reno7 was also revealed: CNY 2,999(~Php 23.7k) for the 8GB/256GB model and CNY 3.299(~Php 26.1k) for the 12GB/256GB model.
