Roughly a week after Huawei announced the P50 Pocket, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip3 competitor appeared on the brand’s Philippines website, indicating an imminent release at our shores.

Just like what was announced in China, the global version of the P50 Pocket will be available in White and Premium Gold. The White variant will have 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, while the Premium Gold version will come with 12GB RAM, 512GB internal storage, and a Premium Edition Card that might be used for premium aftersales services.
Comparing the specs of the Huawei P50 Pocket in China and the Philippines, the only difference we saw is that the one coming to our shores will ship with EMUI 12 instead of HarmonyOS 2.0. This has been the same case with the Philippines version of the P50 Pro, where our review unit came with EMUI instead of HarmonyOS.
The listing on Huawei’s Philippines website did not indicate the P50 Pocket’s price, but we expect it to have an under Php 71k SRP for the White model and an under Php 87k for the Premium Gold model.
