The Red Magic 8S Pro is a mid-year update to the Red Magic 8 Pro, which gets a higher-clocked Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 processor that’s similar to the version used on the Galaxy S23 series.
Aside from the processor upgrade, the Red Magic 8S Pro also has a 6.8-inch 120hz AMOLED display with an under-display 16-megapixel selfie camera, up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage, shoulder triggers, an internal fan that spins up to 20,000 RPM, and a 6000mAh battery that supports 80w charging. The rear camera setup remains the same: 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN5 main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Red Magic 8S Pro Philippines: Price
Red Magic has yet to reveal if they will bring the 8S Pro locally. However, given that the Red Magic 8 Pro was made official in the Philippines, there’s a chance that we might see this mid-year update locally as well.
The global price of the Red Magic 8s Pro starts at $650(~Php 36k) for the 12GB/256GB model and $780(~Php 43k) for the 16GB/512GB model.
