Is this the Redmi A3?

According to the latest leaks, the back panel of the Redmi A3 will look very different from its predecessors, taking design cues from the Xiaomi 12 Ultra with that large circular camera module. There are two colorways that have surfaced in the latest set of leaks: a glossy black finish, and this green finish that appears to have a vegan leather back.

Going to the front, we get a few key details about the Redmi A3. The headline feature has to be the 6.71-inch 90hz display, which is a big upgrade from the smaller 6.52-inch displays used on the Redmi A1 and A2.  There’s also a mention of a fingerprint scanner that we presume is a side-mounted variety, along with a 5000mAh battery and an octa-core processor. We do hope that Xiaomi uses something better than the Helio G36 used on the Redmi A2.

We still waiting for other details about the Redmi A3, but other rumored specs include at least a 4GB/64GB variant, 13-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and 10w charging.

We should know more details about the Redmi A3 in the coming days.
