NVIDIA has unveiled its latest family of GPUs at CES 2024, the RTX 40 SUPER Series. The lineup features the RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER. The updated GPUs aim to maximize NVIDIA’s AI goals on both the hardware and software aide.

The RTX 4070 SUPER retains the same $599 price point of the original version at launch, non-SUPER version, with NVIDIA claiming around 20% better performance. The updates on the RTX 4070 SUPER can deliver better performance over a previous-generation RTX 3090–at least on paper and with the powers of NVIDIA’s DLSS 3.
The RTX 4070Ti SUPER is $200 more expensive at $799, but can handle 4K gaming. Aside from having more cores than the non-Ti version, you get a 16GB frame buffer, and a 256-bit memory bus that increases memory bandwidth to 672 GB/sec. Do note that its pricing is just the same as the original RTX 4070Ti at launch.
Rounding up the lineup is the RTX 4080 SUPER, which is priced at $999. The top-end GPU in the SUPER series claims to outperform a previous-generation RTX 3080Ti by 1.4x without DLSS, and double the performance with DLSS enabled. Unlike the other two GPUs, the RTX 4080 SUPER is $200 more affordable than the original RTX 4080 at launch. This makes it have a more palatable price for those who want NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series GPUs, and also makes it compete better than AMD’s Radeon RX 7900 XTX.
Availability of the RTX 4070 SUPER in the US will be on January 17, while the RTX 4070Ti SUPER will arrive on January 24. Those who want the RTX 4080 SUPER will have to wait until the end of the month.
