The Phantom V Flip is turning a year old in a few months, so we expect TECNO to announce a successor soon. The next iteration, which is said to be called Phantom V2 Flip, was spotted in a listing, and the schematics show a significant design makeover.
The schematics reveal a cover display similar to the RAZR 40 Ultra and the upcoming Magic V Flip with a wraparound design and two camera modules. This makes the Phantom V2 Flip’s cover display more usable than the circular screen used by its predecessor.

The Phantom V2 Flip’s FCC listing mentions a 3310mAh and 1180mAh battery configuration, which roughly translates to a 4700mAh battery pack inside the upcoming flip foldable. That’s bigger than the 4000mAh pack used in the original Phantom V Flip.
Lastly, the Phantom V2 Flip’s IMEI sticker reveals that it will be available in an 8GB/256GB configuration just like its predecessor. The Phantom V2 Flip’s processor is not yet clear at this point, but rumors point to a Dimensity 8020–the same one used on the ZERO 30 5G.
Since the Phantom V Flip launched in September last year, we expect the V2 Flip to launch at around the same month this year.
