After bringing over the POVA 5 Free Fire Edition last month, people were wondering if TECNO has plans of bringing over the POVA 5 Pro to the Philippines–yes, the higher-end version that has LED lighting on the back like the Infinix GT 10 Pro and Nothing Phone (2). The wait for the availability for the POVA 5 Pro in the Philippines will be over soon, as TECNO listed the phone in both its Lazada and Shopee stores.
The poster for both listings do confirm that the POVA 5 Pro is arriving in the Philippines on September 6, and will have an official SRP of Php 10,999 and a promo price of Php 9,999 for those who will be buying early. In addition to the promo price, a DITO SIM will be given to every POVA 5 Pro purchase.
While the SRP in the Philippines mirrors the SRP in Indonesia, the promo price makes the TECNO POVA 5 Pro a competitive offering in the under Php 10k segment. To recap, it has a mecha-inspired back panel with RGB lighting and is powered by a Dimensity 6080 processor (aka Dimensity 810) that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
