TECNO to Launch Phantom V Flip on September 22

After being in the rumor mill a few months ago, TECNO has confirmed that they will launch the Phantom V Flip on September 22 in Singapore. Aside from the confirmed launch date, leaked photos of what appears to be an Aramid Fiber case for the Phantom V Flip has also surfaced, confirming the circular module in front that has two cameras, an LED flash, and a unique circular OLED display.

To recall, a series of leaked photos of the Phantom V Flip further revealed its possible spec sheet through its about page. From what we know so far, the Phantom V Flip will be powered by a Dimensity 8050 processor–the same processor powering the Camon 20 Pro 5G, that’s paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The About page also revealed that the Phantom V Flip will have a 4000mAh battery, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 64-megapixel main camera. The display will have a Full HD+ resolution, and the size appears to be around 6.7 inches based on the leaked photos.

Aside from the Phantom V Flip, TECNO will also launch a 2023 version of its MegaBook T1 in a 14-inch variant, which we presume will have internal upgrades. At this point, we’re waiting for the official price of the Phantom V Flip–for reference, the Phantom V Fold retails for Php 59,999 in the Philippines, so we are looking at the possibility that the smaller Phantom V Flip might be priced at around the Php 45k mark.
