TECNO Camon 30 Pro 5G

On the top of our list is the Camon 30 Pro 5G, which boasts three 50-megapixel cameras covering the main, ultrawide, and selfie shooters. Its selfie and ultrawide cameras have autofocus, while the main camera uses a flagship-caliber IMX890 sensor and has OIS, giving you a complete package for vlogging and photography.

The Camon 30 Pro 5G is also powerful with its use of a Dimensity 8200 processor that also allows it to shoot 4K video at 60FPS. You also get 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, which should be enough for most content creators.

Nothing Phone 2a

Beyond aesthetics, the Nothing Phone 2a is a close contender for one of the best midrange phones for cameras. It closely matches the Camon 30 Pro 5g as it uses 50-megapixel sensors on the main and ultrawide cameras–the former having OIS and the latter having autofocus.

The Nothing Phone 2a uses a Dimensity 7200, which is a solid midrange chip from MediaTek that gives it the ability to shoot 4K videos on both the main and ultrawide cameras.

POCO X7 Pro

While we usually don’t recommend POCO phones for photography, they stepped up with the X7 Pro with their decision to use a tried-and-tested IMX882 sensor for the main camera with OIS. The X7 Pro’s imaging performance is significantly better than its predecessors especially with lowlight photography, and joins the Camon 30 Pro 5G as one of the rare midrange phones that can shoot 4K video at 60FPS.

The X7 Pro has the best set of internals for its price segment: Dimensity 8400, UFS 4.0 storage, and LPDDR5X RAM. Aside from being a powerful chip that can handle the most demanding games with ease, the Dimensity 8400 has broader support for AI features that benefit the X7 Pro with AI photo editing.

realme 13+

While realme positions the 13+ more for gaming with its use of a Dimensity 7300 processor and UFS 3.1 storage, the brand is consistent in giving is number line excellent main camera performance. In the realme 13+, you get an LYT600 sensor for the main camera with OIS–which is an excellent combination for photography especially in low-light situations.

The realme 13+ can shoot 4K videos, and the LYT600 is well-tuned for video recording, making it a versatile midrange device.

Infinix GT 20 Pro

Don’t be deceived by its gamer aesthetics: what makes the GT 20 Pro impressive is that it is one of the most affordable phones you can buy that can shoot 4K video at 60FPS thanks to its use of a Dimensity 8200 processor. It uses a 108-megapixel ISOCELL HM6 for the main camera with OIS.

While the main camera is accompanied by fillers and Infinix has used this sensor on several of its phones, we’re impressed at the significantly better imaging and video performance of the GT 20 Pro–which can be credited to Infinix’s processor of choice and its camera UI.
