As we are waiting for the vivo V50, an alleged official render of the upcoming midrange phone has surfaced. Just as we speculated, the V50 looks very similar to the S20 that launched in China last November, with the key differences being the ZEISS branding on the camera module and a red colorway that’s very uncommon on vivo phones.

We’re not sure if this Rose Red colorway will be offered globally, as it is said to be inspired by Indian Weddings–which means it might be an India exclusive colorway. Other details about the V50 include a quad-curved display similar to the X200 Pro, a 50-megapixel selfie shooter, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Processor used since the V30, and the slimmest phone in the segment using a 6000mAh battery. As for other details, the V50 will reportedly have 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage, along with support for 90w charging.

If the alleged specs are to be believed, it seems that the V50 will feature the design of the S20 Pro while having the internals of the regular S20. Battery capacity is also different, but it’s something we expect given recent trends where brands have to comply with different regulations per country.
