Xiaomi 13 Lite Features Dynamic Island-Like Notch

Aside from the global unveiling of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, the brand has also made the 13 Lite official as well.

While the Xiaomi 13 Lite is widely based on the Civi 2, it has a few differences. For the dynamic island-like punch-hole, you get a 32-megapixel main selfie shooter with a 100-degree FOV and an 8-megapixel depth sensor (instead of another 32-megapixel selfie shooter like the Civi 2). For the rear cameras, you get a 50-megapixel IMX766 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera (instead of a 20-megapixel one), and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

Moving aside from those differences,  you are also getting a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor that’s paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. The display is a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.

You get a plastic frame and a non-Gorilla Glass back panel–the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. You get an IP53 rating, along with a 4500mAh battery that supports 67w charging and Android 12-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

The Xiaomi 13 Lite starts at 499 Euros for the 8GB/128GB variant, or around Php 29k when converted. It will be available in Europe on March 8, and there’s no word yet on availability in the Philippines.
