It’s a new line for the Redmi series
After being spotted in hands-on photos and in a hands-on video, Xiaomi confirms via a poster that they will be releasing the Redmi S2 on May 10.
According to rumors, the Redmi S series aims to be more affordable than the usual Redmi series while offering decent specs like a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a selfie-centric 16-megapixel front camera. According to the posters, the Redmi S2 will be an exclusive to Chinese E-commerce site Suning.com, and is expected to be priced at $175(~Php 9.1k).
