After teasing it before Christmas, TECNO has made the Spark 20 Pro+ official on its website as the first Spark phone to get a Pro+ variant. Unlike other variants, the Spark 20 Pro+ looks very premium–and we presume that TECNO will price it at under Php 10k based on how the Spark 20 series is priced in the Philippines.

As revealed in its product page, the Spark 20 Pro+ comes in four colorways, with the Magic Skin 2.0 having a leather back panel–while the other three colorways go for a glass-like finish. You also get a distinctively different camera module compared to the rest of the Spark 20 variants: the large circle has a triple rear camera setup that’s led by a 108-megapixel main camera.

There are no details about the other two cameras, but the Spark 20 Pro+ comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera and features like 2K video recording and dual video. Making it look different from the rest of the Spark 20 family is the curved display, which is 6.78 inches and has a 120hz refresh rate. Despite its premium looks, the Spark 20 Pro+ has an IP53 rating. 

While the rest of the Spark 20 Pro+’s spec sheet is something we expect–Helio G99m 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 33w charging–what’s interesting is that it comes with Android 14 out of the box. That makes it the first TECNO phone (or the first under Transsion group) to have Android 14 instead of Android 13.

TECNO has yet to reveal pricing and availability of the Spark 20 Pro+, but we expect it to have an under Php 10k price tag should it be made available in the Philippines.
