Alleged Photo of POCO F5 Pro Surfaces, Looks Like Redmi K60

While it’s no secret that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be available globally as the POCO F5, there are speculations that the F5 Pro will be based on the Redmi K60. While the alleged April 6 launch of the POCO F5 did not push through, an alleged photo of the Pro model made its rounds on the internet, and it confirmed initial speculations.

Aside from the obvious POCO and 5G brandings as seen on the alleged photo, the camera bump does confrm that the F5 Pro is the Redmi K60 for global markets. Assuming Xiaomi does not make any changes to its specs, we expect the POCO F5 Pro to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, along with a larger-than-usual 5500mAh battery that supports 67w wired and 30w wireless charging–the latter being a first on any POCO device.

The rear camera setup may be the same as what we saw on the POCO F4–with the main camera being a 64-megapixel OV64B sensor with OIS–the display will be an upgrade. Aside from a bump to a 2K resolution and having support for 12-bit color, the POCO F4 will also get an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Based on what we know about the POCO F5 Pro, it appears to be just as promising as the vanilla model. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor is a great choice for any flagship killer offering–and it all boils down to how much POCO plans to price the F5 Pro globally.
