Redmi Note 12 Series Launching for Global Markets on March 23

While the Redmi Note 12 series is already official, it is not yet available outside of China and India. Those who are waiting for the much-loved Note series from Redmi have good news, as Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 12 series will go official for global markets on March 23.

It’s not clear what Redmi Note 12 series will be made official for global markets, but a brochure that leaked ahead of the official launch reveal that the variants to be made available are the Redmi Note 12 4G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

Looking through the leaked spec sheet, we can confirm that the global models that will launch will be roughly the same models that were announced in China. The differences include only one RAM/Storage option per model, and that the Explorer Edition with 210w charging will remain exclusive to China–a possible reason for this is that Redmi’s 210w charger lacks the necessary certifications so that it can be used for global markets.

The big question with the Redmi Note 12 series is how much they will be priced. For the Redmi Note 11 in the Philippines, the vanilla 4G model had a starting price of Php 9k, while the top-end Pro+ was the first model under the Redmi Note series to breach the Php 20k price point.
