Digital Tax is coming, and not everyone’s happy about it. Netflix announced that it is raising the prices of its plans because of the 12% VAT implemented as part of the Digital Services Law. Everyone’s furious, even though the law’s implementing rules and regulations promise 5% of the collected VAT to help the local creative industry.

Updated Fiber Plans from Converge and Globe. Converge unveiled their Super FiberX plans with higher speeds and better inclusions, while Globe GFiber added limited offer perks like Piso cashout and no lock-in period, which rarely happens for any postpaid fiber plan. Both look promising on paper, but it boils down to how good their service is when you apply for one.

Home Credit…for Motorcycles? You heard that right: Home Credit is expanding its financing services to include motorcycles, allowing Filipinos more options in purchasing two-wheeled vehicles. Offering financing for motorcycles is quite a leap (and risk) from gadgets and appliances, but it shows that they have a sizable audience that are looking for accessible means to acquire a motorcycle.
