Rumors point to a mid-range phone
While HTC is around making virtual reality headsets, the Taiwanese brand has been quiet when it comes to smartphones—the last ones being the Desire 12s. Recently, HTC posted a teaser on their Facebook page, stating that they will launch a new phone on June 11.
Based on the rumors that surfaced recently, the phone in question might be the mid-range HTC phone spotted in AnTuTu two months ago. Rumored to be called the U19e, the upcoming phone will have a Snapdragon 710 processor paired with 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, and a Full HD+ display.
The U19e got certified by Taiwan’s NCC, and schematics reveal a notch-free display and dual front cameras.
We will know more about the phone come June 11, so stay tuned to the site for updates.
