2024 ZenBook 14 OLED Debuts with Core Ultra Processors

2024 ZenBook 14 OLED Debuts with Core Ultra Processors

With Intel officially unveiling its Core Ultra series of processors before 2023 ends, ASUS is among the first brands to use this new chip with the 2024 ZenBook 14 OLED (UX3405).

Like current ZenBooks, you get an all-metal build with ASUS’ unique monogram on the lid. The chassis is 14.9mm thin and houses a sizeable 75wHr battery. Despite that, it only weighs around 1.2kg, making it around 10% more compact than its predecessors. Even the battery gets some upgrades, with ASUS claiming up to 20% more charging cycles for a longer battery span.

Paired with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, ASUS claims that you can get up to 15 hours on a single charge. Like other ZenBooks, you get USB-C charging that allows you to top-up with a supported power bank.

The 2024 ZenBook 14 OLED’s display has a 3K (2880×1800) resolution and boasts a 120hz refresh rate in a 16:10 aspect ratio. To maintain its compact design, you get slim bezels with a claimed 87% screen-to-body ratio. You still get a healthy port selection despite its slim size that include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, headphone jack, and a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port.

Just like its recent releases, the 2024 ZenBook 14 OLED is sustainable by using 50% post-consumer recycled materials, with the entire packing being 100% recyclable.

ASUS has yet to reveal details about the pricing and configuration variants of the 2024 ZenBook 14 OLED, but expect the brand to reveal more about it in the next few weeks.
